I originally purchased this pattern as it looked very similar to the famous Victory Jumper (below) from V&A – but the bust size was much larger. (I tried to scale up the pattern to a 40 inch bust, and didnt do to well).
The striped version could easily pass for 1940s if it was knitted with negative ease, a deeper waist band and shoulder pads – or knit it plain with zero ease for a nice early 50s look.
To fit a 34, 37 and 40 inch bust.
