Subversive Femme

Nautical Shortie Coat from Patons No.430, 1950s

Despite the model looking like one of the Children of the Corn, this jacket is adorable and a quick knit too.

It looks very easy, I wish it went up to a 38-40 inch bust though!

This is a very cute pattern. I hear you about having patterns be a bigger bust. I've got a ton of pattern I want to knit but alas I'm not a 34″ bust. I need to learn to adjust for a bigger bust.

That model is so upsetting! But you're right, the jacket is supercute. I have a friend who is a whiz at resizing knit stuff, I might sic her on this so I can make it…it's summer here though and the hot weather always slows my knitting down, so maybe I'll stick a pin in 'til the fall.

Thanks for posting the pattern though, it's sick!

Fantastic pattern and luckily for me, this one time, my small bust is a winner! I am putting it on my list to knit…
    thanks, Claire
