Pattern: Jenny, by Sarah Dallas for Rowan 37
Yarn: Bendigo Cotton 8ply in Black for the body (1.75 balls), Spotlight Cotton Basics for the pink (0.5 balls)
Size: The largest, I think its 40 inch? That made negative 1.5inch ease.

I really liked this pattern, its so simple but so effective. The only things I did differently was add 5cm to the length, and pick up waaaay less stitches on the neckline (40% less). When I had sewn it together and tried it on, the neckline came down to the edges of my shoulders – a tight cast off helped as well.

The Bendigo Cotton was a good cheap choice for this project (I think the whole thing cost $25 to make) but I think it might pill a bit – it already looks slightly aged. I might make another in future in a better cotton.

The best bit – The Boi likes it. Hy never likes my knitted cardigans/jumpers, but he actually gave it praise. Surely a good sign.
