Description
“Hiawatha Hats and Bags No.12” – printed in 1945.
Twenty-four smart hats and eight lovely bag patterns, in crochet. Complete 24-page booklet.
The high-fashion and dramatic styles make this booklet a MUST for anyone looking to make their own War-era millinery.
The design are made using a variety of Hiawatha yarns now discontinued – good substitutes would be:
Belastraw or Strawlite – crisp yarns, such as linen, hemp or firm silk.
Super Crepe – mercerised cotton
Super Twist Rayon – cotton, rayon or bamboo.
Most patterns require a size 0 steel crochet hook (3.25mm).
Please note all my patterns have a faint watermark.
