With the start of World War Two, the gay thirties gave way to a more austere forties style – women wanted to look practical, capable, but still retain their feminine charms.
This sweet jumper has rows of bluebell lace flowers and matching eyelets. A gently ribbed neckline complements the wide ribbed waist.
