“Here is Wendy… If your cherub has leanings towards the Army use khaki instead of the Air Force blue, grey and light blue quoted in the instructions.”

This pattern is so detailed, its unbelievable. Shoe laces, a belt, buttons, badges – even the eagles on the sleeve tops! Everything’s been thought of to make Wendy look as accurate as possible.

This pattern comes from an early 1940’s toy book, “Home-Made Toys”, from the Australian Women’s Weekly.

This knitting pattern requires 3/4 ounce of fingering yarn in Airforce Blue, plus oddments of black, grey, pale blue, brown, flesh pink, yellow and red.

A pair of 2.75mm knitting needles (UK 12) are also required.

Please note all my patterns have a faint watermark.
