Curvy Month Pattern 2: Starring Stripes cardigan c. mid 1940s

Today’s free vintage knitting pattern is described “Here’s a bright new jacket in a simple stitch to make and wear over plain jumpers and blouses – and it’s a grand design for using up those odd ounces of wool.”
And they’re totally right – this three colour cardigan would be perfect for using up any random skeins you might have, and is a great WWII economy design.
- To fit: 39 to 40 inch bust
- Yarn: Fingering weight
- Needles: UK 10 and 12, Metric 3.25mm and 2.75mm

Love this! I have an awful lot of sock wool that would be perfect for this pattern. Thanks for sharing.
