Let’s step forward to the late 1940 – 1949 to be exact. Today’s free vintage knitting pattern is for a practical cabled cardigan, with warm long sleeves and knitted rib bands.
- To fit: 39-41″ chest
- Yarn: fingering
- Needles: UK 10, 11 and 12. Metric 3.25mm, 3mm and 2.75mm.
- Tension: One cable to the inch
