Curvy Month 9: A late 1940s Block Pattern jumper

Let’s step forward a little bit to the late 1940s/early 1950s for today’s free vintage knitting pattern.

This jumper (sweater) pattern features an interesting block pattern design made from rib. Although originally published in 1950, the style of this jumper is still quite 1940s with it’s strong shoulders and deep waist ribbing.

• Finished sizes: 36, 38, 40″
• Yarn: fingering weight
• Needles: UK 11, metric 3mm
• Tension: 30 sts to 4 inchs (7.5 to the inch)
