Dapper Month 4: Fairway, in an easy zig-zag stitch c. 1950

Today’s Dapper pattern was chosen by Jakk for it’s simple yet interesting stitch pattern, and that it’s knitted in a thicker (8-ply) yarn for warmth.

In fact, Jakk has already asked me to knit this one up for them (wouldn’t it look great in a tweed yarn?).

The pattern comes from Patons Specially Requested Reprints R.3 – first published in 1950. I hope you like it!
