Free pattern: Checked Cardigan, c. 1950s
This time another great 50s design – featuring a two-colour checked pattern and practical pockets.
I’m not certain when this magazine was published but I estimate early 1950s.
- To fit: 38-40″ chest (for 42 inch chest, use one size larger needles)
- Yarn: Fingering weight
- Needles: UK 10 and 12, Metric 3.25mm and 2.75mm
- Tension: 7 sts and 9 rows
