A simple yet distinctive design from Weldons Woman’s Journal 2nd Book of Knitting and Crochet, circa early 1930s.
Knitted in an open (and stretchy) black-berry stitch, this jumper has a smart tie neckline and ribbed cuffs/waistband. A fancy pattern can be cross-stitched on afterwards for a striking effect.
