Swallow Cardigan in larger sizes 701-11, from 1953

Isn’t this cardigan divine?! A simple to knit cardigan with set in sleeves, but with darling swallows around the neckline. The swallows are charted, while the background is made up of sequins and beads – you could easily duplicate stitch little stars by hand if you preferred.
Pattern comes from ‘Lees Columbia-Minerva Beehive Yarns Family Hand Knits, vol. 701’
- Finished size: 36-38-40 inch bust
- Yarn: Fingering weight (8 sts to the inch)
Needles: US 2 and 3, metric 2.75mm and 3.25mm
