Today’s free vintage knitting pattern is from one of my favourite sources – Woman’s Journal 2nd Book of Knitting and Crochet, likely published in the early 1930s.
The booklet is filled with a range of lovely 1930s knitting patterns, and in a wide range of sizes (even better).
This coat-cardigan is generously sized, and the open fancy rib should be interesting the knit. The rib at the bottom is extended into a buckle closure.
- To fit: 40-42 inch bust

- Needles: UK 8, 10 and 12 (Metric 4mm, 3.25mm and 2.75mm)
