I’m a secret fan of bed-jackets – I have a few vintage ones that I wear around my house during winter, they’re so snuggly and glamorous!
This bed-jacket comes from Patons and Baldwins’ Specialty Knitting Book No. 54 – probably from 1936-38. I really like the unusual stitch on this pattern – it’s actually multi-coloured, in shades of pink and blue.
If you switched to darker tones like navy with gold, or green and brown you’d end up with a really striking jacket for day time wear.
