Free Pattern: Mame in New York

Based off Mame, a re-worked pattern from the 1950s I released last year, Mame in New York is a snazzier, jazzier sweater featuring a very popular styling element from the fifties – the chevron!

Chevrons were very popular during the mid-1950s, and I really wanted to be able to offer a pattern for other knitters who want to recreate the look.

Even better, the chevron can be trimmed with silver thread, just like many of the original sweaters.

Mame in New York is currently available in sizes 36 to 56 inches – however I would LOVE to offer this in a larger chest size.

If you’d like to knit this pattern in a 60+ chest please reach out to me!

You can download Mame in New York here, or via Ravelry here.
