1940s Rainbow Jumper from WWII, from Lavenda 915

$2.00

This British pattern would have been very popular with knitters during WWII, allowing them to use up odds and ends instead of buying all new yarn.

The slipped stitch stripe is very interesting, and the puffed sleeves, button yoked neckline and wide waist ribbing add to the charm of this jumper from Lavenda 915

*Please note – the original owner of the pattern wrote her colour combinations on the original picture. I have tried to remove them (as seen in the photo above), but I think they add a lot of context and charm to the pattern. I’ll include a copy of it and the photoshopped version in the PDF.*

To fit: 32-34 inch bust
Needles: UK 12 and 8, Metric 3.75mm and 2.75mm
Yarn: fingering weight.

Please note all my patterns have a faint watermark.
