This would be a lovely companion to high waisted lounge pants or skirts, for the perfect 1940s summer look. The pattern comes from an Australian WWII-era Sun-Glo knitting booklet, and was suggested to be made up in bright red.
Rib detail accentuates the bust line, and the puff sleeves have an interesting diagonal stitch pattern. Three buttons to close.
- finished size of 32-34 inches around the bust,
- knitted on 3.25mm and 2.75mm needles (UK 10 and 12)
- uses fingering weight.
