‘The rainbow yoke is fun to knit and a joy to wear. The ribbed pattern of this pretty little button-up ensures a neat appearance and the bow-tie add finish.’
Taken from ‘The Woman and Home’, September 1948, this pretty cardigan has seven contrast colours knitted in the patterned yoke and is finished with a cute bow-tie at the front neck.
The pattern is VERY stretchy and knitted smaller than your actual bust size.
- Size: to 34 inch bust, and expand comfortably up to a 36 inch bust.
- Yarn: fingering weight
- Needles: UK 11 and 13, metric 3mm & 2.25mm needles.
