An absolutely stunning knitted dress, from the Australian Woman’s Weekly Knitting Book, 1942.
A ribbed stitch ensures the dress is form-fitting, while moss-stitch button bands and sash provide a delicate contrast. Puffed sleeves are a must in this War-era design.
- Finished measurements of 34 inch bust and 36 inch hip (some leeway here due to the stretchy rib)
- Requires fingering weight yarn
- Needles: UK 11 and 10, metric 3mm + 3.25mm.
