Dapper Pattern 1: Comfortable Lounging Sweater, c. 1945

Welcome to Dapper Month! A month of masculine/unisex vintage knitting patterns for the dapper person in your life!

This is the first time I’ve run Dapper Month, and I’m so excited to share some knitting patterns for the non-feminine-styled people out there.

Jakk adores this cardigan, so I’m guessing a few other people who enjoy masculine knits might like it too!

This cardigan has such a classic style (and pockets) but the faux double knitting pattern on the front is super interesting. You knit on double points, and knit 2 rows right to left, then flip the work, and work another two rows. It gives this interesting double knitting effect.

I actually promised Jakk I would make this in green and beige, so here’s hoping you’ll see it finished soon!
