Subversive Femme Pattern 1038 – the flattering and sultry Sunset Stroll Wrap Dress.
Professionally graded and reproduced in eight sizes, this wrap dress stylem with winged sleeves were popularised by the designers Alfred Shaheen and Stan Hicks during the 1950s and 1960s
The dress features a flattering wrap bust that ties in back, pointed dramatic sleeves, a darted sheath fit and split hem. Contrast fabric for the wrap facing, under bodice and sleeve lining are recommended.

Description
Darted sheath. Wrap bust with ties. Pointed lined sleeves. Back zip.
Seam allowance of 5/8″ / 1.5cm provided.
Sizes
32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46 inch busts (see photos for complete size charts and finished measurements).
As the bust wraps and cinches in the waist, there’s some flexibility in those to measurements (great if you’re between sizes!)
This dress has been directed graded from a vintage pattern, so I’d recommend making a test version in cheaper fabric first to check fit ❤️
